Ezmlm is a fast, stable and secure mailing list manager that powers some of the biggest discussion lists on the internet. After reaching stability, the ezmlm project stopped producing new releases, and users began to clamor for web-based administration, more archiving capabilities. Many users turned to projects like Mailman, which we did not find sufficient for our needs.
Our solution? Write these capabilities ourselves! The basic framework of ezmlm is very adaptable, and we chose to adapt it by adding database archiving and additional mail-based commands. Next on our list, web-based administration without forcing users to run a web servers on their list host.
Sites hosted by pajunas interactive already have access to these extended list services, and pending peer review, we will make a public release of all ezmlm tools under a collective project called "ezmeister".
