On Friday, June 30th, we signed on with a second datacenter provider. Over the next few weeks, we will begin migrating some of our secondary web and email services to the new facility, while retaining our primary space at NOC1.
This move is part of our ongoing commitment to provide each of our customers with the kind of scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure that was once reserved for enterprise budgets. Our aggressive offisite backup strategy will reach a new level, and we can begin to provide hot offsite failover capabilities. We will begin routing and load-balancing certain services to provide fault-tolerance at consistently affordable rates.
Our present provider, Sungard Availability, has set the bar high for selecting datacenter space. Since we began working with them in 2004, they have consistently maintained their 100% SLA's on power and network availability, and they work tirelessly to provide personal and knowledgable service.Â
