During the past year, we have been busily upgrading our hosting infrastructure.  We have moved to a new datacenter, built a custom version of the operating system, and added several servers.

We've been so busy, in fact, that the infrastructure section of this website has not been anywhere near up-to-date for quite awhile.  If you are curious about our new and vastly improved hosting environment, please take some time to check it out.

Our time with the Rennaisance Box has come to an end.  We had a great time, met new people, and held many TCPHP and tcbug meetings in their great meeting space!

Sadly, the Renaissance Box lacked the resources to sustain itself and continue accommodating pajunas and the local technical community.  The building has been sold, and ownership will soon be transferred to the Central Community Housing Trust.  While the RenBox vision was never fully realized, we are excited to see that it will be in good hands.  In contrast with many of the high-priced condo developments in the area, the RenBox building will become a community, business and living space for mixed income residents.

 Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch? pajunas interactive will be hosting a series of Free Lunch Fridays for our friends, developers and supporters. Please join the pajunas crew and other developers as we meet at locally-owned restaurants and bars in the Twin Cities area.

 We're co-sponsoring a technology grant to Minnesota non-profit organizations. This is part of our ongoing mission to facilitate local community efforts by providing services to causes we support. The annual recipient of the Minnesota Geek Grant award will receive $5,000 worth of web development from Myriad Intellect and a free year of hosting from pajunas interactive.

Thanks to all of our friends and customers and to all the Minneapolis/St. Paul web techs who attended our open house last night. We had a great showing and plenty of opportunities to connect names with faces.

 You are invited to our interactive office open house on Thursday, November 11th from 4:00 - 7:00PM. Visit with the pajunas interactive staff, enjoy free refreshments and check out the DeveloperFocus tech library and other tech community initiatives.

Out of our continuing mission to provide the most helpful and honest services available, we have created the pajunas Developer Alliance. In contrast with private-label reseller programs, this approach provides honest services for hosting customers and shared revenue for developers.

 We have crossed the Mississippi and are now making our home at the Renaissance Box Building, located in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Renaissance Box is a mixed-use warehouse building that features a production theatre, an internet cafe, and a creative technical and artistic community that matches our values.

We are actively working to make two of our internal software development initiatives available as open source software. Peer review and documentation projects have begun on Operon, a powerful relationship management database and ezmeister, a collection of ezmlm extensions. Our website now includes a new open source tools section that highlights these projects and other open source tools available to hosting customers.

We would like to thank our existing customers for continuing to support us. We're not the biggest company out there and we don't have a how-cheap-can-we-make-it pricing model, but you appreciate the value of an independent company and support the missions we promote - and that makes it all worthwhile!

We've always offered a generous $15 credit for hosting business referred by one of our customers. As part of our birthday celebration, we're doubling the credit to $30 for all new business through the end of March. That could mean two months of free hosting just for making a recommendation!

We're thrilled about entering our third year of business and want you to share in the festivities! From now through the March 31st, 2003 we are waiving the $25 setup fee on new or transferred hosting accounts.
